- Your Home, My Home, Inc. This organization administers Lissy’s Place, a haven for homeless/abused women. In the past eight years, more than 400 women have been helped. Lissy’s Place is housed in the former convent of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church on Milwaukee’s West Side. Consider volunteering at Lissy’s Place. Learn about further opportunities.
- Saint Catherine School — “St. Catherine School is a Catholic community in the Sherman Park area that serves all faiths in our neighborhood. The faculty and staff of St. Catherine School embrace and nurture the spirit of each child.”
